I am not a contractor, I do not have any professional training: I am a Dad who enjoys creating things. Most of the times it's in the garage with tools, but sometimes it's in the kitchen with a frying pan, at this moment it's in front of my computer creating this site.   I encourage everyone to overcome hesitation and fear and take the leap to be creative.

The projects, methods and tools featured on this blog have worked for me, but keep in mind that not every one will have the same results.  You are responsible for wearing proper safety equipment and techniques when using or operating any products.  With that said, if you don't have a a basic understanding of how tools/equipment work, a basic concern for safety precautions or for that matter if you lack common sense, then please call a professional.   Please attempt any and all projects at your own risk: the DIY Dad will not be responsible for any injuries, personal loss or damage caused by attempts to be as incredible as I look.
